The Point to Point and Hunting yards at Eastnor are run and managed by Mrs Nicky Sheppard, a lady who is at the very pinnacle of professional equestrianism. An extremely successful point to point trainer she has over a hundred and twenty winners under her belt all told. A stalwart and loyal hunt supporter it is only when racing duties intervene that she misses a day out with the Ledbury. Nicky also personally, cleans, inspects and prepares all the racing equipment and more often than not individually bathes and grooms the horses so that they have that added 'gleam'. Nicky recently took part in and completed the notorious 'Golden Button' event organised by the Ledbury Hunt which was an event based on the original point to point of years ago.
