Welcome to Matt Sheppard's Web Page
Matt Sheppard's stables are situated in the glorious Herefordshire countryside at the foot of the Malvern Hills and in the shadow of historic Eastnor Castle. Operating to the highest standards, facilities include well ventilated loose boxes, paddocks, horse walker, sand lunge ring and several gallops in various lengths and gradients. Matt Sheppard takes pride in offering personal attention for owners and individual attention for their horses.
Owners may visit their horses at any time to see them or watch
them on the gallops. If you are interested in becoming a race
horse owner, either as an individual or part owner or as part of a
syndicate Matt will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If you are already an owner looking to rejuvenate your horse or wish to
add to your string please contact Matt to discuss your requirements.
All inquiries are dealt with in the strictest confidence.

April 26th Berkeley Point to Point held at Woodford, once again Strong Weld makes all the running in the Men's Open uner the guidance of jockey Liam Payter to clinch his fourth victory in a row.

April 19th Pentyrch Point to Point at Bonvilston, Lough Ennel wins the Hunt Members for his fourth success of the season with his usual jockey Liam Payter on board. Congratulations to Lough Ennel's

April 12th Ludlow Point to Point, Strong Weld makes all the running and takes the Men's Open in the fastest time of the day for jockey Liam Payter. Congratulations to his owners

March 23rd Top Dawn wins the totesport.com Novices' Handicap Chase at Plumpton under jockey David England. Congratulations to his owner Mr Will Gaskins.

March 20th Beesneez wins the Bromfield Sand & Gravel Handicap Chase at Ludlow
by five lengths, the jockey was Seamus Durack. Congratulations

March 2nd Curre & Llangibby Howick Point to Point Strong Weld takes the
first spot in the Confined for trainer Mrs Nicky Sheppard. Congrats to his owners
